The goal of our cuisine is to display the nuance and versatility that is the wagyu breed of beef. We do this through the use of the animal in its entirety and compliment it with sea life and wild as well as farmed produce from both Japan and California.
Gozu offers two dining experiences. Our Fireside Tasting Menu offers a multi course dining experience surrounding our open fire kitchen.
Our Stickbar menu allows guests to enjoy multiple cuts of wagyu served a la carte alongside our 120+ selections of Japanese whisky.
Gozu’s beverage program is composed of whisky, wine and sake that represent the unique kinship of craft and product. It’s an homage to the transcendent results of dedicated individuals cultivating unique products from all over the world. The list is composed of a diverse selection of products, styles, regions and individuals...But in its totality, each selection seeks to articulate the preeminent convergence of humanity, nature and technique.
The spirits selections focus on Japanese & Scotch whiskies, while featuring other small batch offerings indicative of terroir. We have a wide variety of sake that run the spectrum from light and delicate to rich and structured, in order to pair with our diverse menu.
The boutique nature of the beverage program will allow it the flexibility to always represent the changing seasons, menus, trends and emerging new offerings in the industry.
Our whisky lounge features over 180 selections of whisky with a focus on rare bottles from Japan.
The Lounge offers a separate and intimate setting for people looking to explore an array of beverages and flights. Walk-in drinking and dining is welcome but please note: the room is limited to 12 seats.
